The Wood & Wood Modern Cremation Urn is assembled by hand. The core of the urn is made of aerospace aluminum by the process of extrusion from an exclusive matrix, cut to millimetric precision and the top and base are made from recycled aluminum by a process of die casting. These 3 parts are sealed and hand assembled with stainless steel screws to prevent electrolysis and so insure the everlasting durability of the product. The cremation urns will memorialize your loved one forever. When the artist makes the urn a special person is kept in mind. The engraving is done on paper which is inserted into the urn.

Wood Veneered Aluminium:
The urn is burled maple vener combined with an adaptation of the oriental art of lacquer consiting of multi layers of resinous varnish imparting high polish to wood. This work is done by a skillful artisan using a specific adhesive and many layers of varnish with a polyester base, handsanded between each layer. That seals the surface and make it waterproof and resistant. The fabricating delay of that unit is usually 6 weeks because of the drying time of the products between the successive operations. This urn is one of a kind urn, each wood peace is unique.
